{{course.CourseDescription}}
Explore the written word and stretch your imagination. Our literature courses will introduce you to different styles of writing, analyse layers of meaning within text, place important written works within their cultural context and encourage you to think outside the box. You’ll develop valuable job-ready skills in communication, critical thinking and research and if you choose literature as a major in your Bachelor of Teaching/Bachelor of Arts, you’ll have a teaching area to take into the classroom.
What better way to understand a text than to follow in the footsteps of its creator. Study literature and you’ll have the opportunity to take your study out of the classroom and onto the streets of New York City and Rome. Our Literature and Drama of NY City unit introduces you to some of the great American writers and the Broadway performances they’ve written and inspired while Screen Studies is delivered at our Rome Campus and gives you insight into the development of film and television and its analysis, and includes tours of various film locations and a visit to a famous studio.
We're available 9am–5pm AEDT,
Monday to Friday
